The speedway was owned by the American Legion Post in Garden City. It was promoted by Earl Kennedy and his wife Ma. one tenth of a mile dirt until the go carts wanted ashfalt. It had a short life but did ok. Names that I remember are Dawson , owner , Kennedy had 2 cars , Jim stevens owner , Ed Lagenes owner and driver and I owned a car and drove.
