Entry Date: 1/16/2009 - Jennifer Harris: I had the chance to see E.T. with the whole school,or was it the whole 3rd grade,anyway.I was afraid to see the movie,so mom picked me up that day,and I went home and made Chocolate Chip Cookies. If anyone has a picture of the old Bella Vista Theater I want to see it on this site,and when it closed,I can''t remember when it closed.

Entry Date: 5/27/2008 - Craig: The Bella Vista was a smaller theater associated with the Bella Vista Mall in Grand Blanc.
The mall is still there, as is the theater building, but the last time I was in Grand Blanc the building housed a hardware store.
When it shut down the theater had two screens but I believe it was originally a one-screen house.
By the early 1980''s it was showing second-run movies at a great bargain, and in the 1970''s it ran a kid''s movie every Saturday afternoon.
I left town in 1984 and I don''t remember if the theater was still operating.
