Entry Date: 1/16/2009 - Jennifer Harris: My brother and father went to see Star Wars in the 80s.I didn''t want to get out of the car. Dad,With a cigarette in his mouth,Have some popcorn.Mom drove me home.Mom watched,I think Sneak Previews,Because at the movies was on Saturday Nights.I wanted popcorn,so I brought out the Kernals, and the popcorn popper, but didn''t know how to make it.Mom said,You would''ve gotten some Popcorn at the movie. Brother and dad also saw Return of the Jedi there, too.
Entry Date: 5/27/2008 - Craig: The Flint Cinema was the greatest theater in Flint.
Massive screen and comfortable seats.
I spent many days there in the 1970''s.
I had left Flint when it closed and I was heartbroken to hear it had shut down.
It still hurts to drive by the old spot on the rare occasions I am back in town.

Entry Date: 5/21/2008 - JerryD: The Flint Cinema, was a single screen auditorium,
with a seat count of 1000. The Cinema
had
70MM capability and the fist "Indy Jones" was presented in 70MM, not sure about
number 2.
Great picture presentation!!!!!.
Entry Date: 5/13/2008 - Scott: This theater had only 2 screens, which were wide-screens, and made for great viewing. I saw Patton and Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom here.
I would have rated the theater 5 stars, but the popcorn was terrible.
