The caption that youve put with the image of a vacant lot is incorrect. That vacant lot is actually a park, and was so even when the Flo Theatre was in operation. To be somewhat more acurate, though not completely so, the Flo Theatre stood where the short, brown building on the right-hand side of the picture is. After years of standing abandoned and unused, the Flo Theatre building was torn down and that short, brown building was put in its place to house village offices. The exact footprint doesnt match, of course.
The Theatre was larger in every direction: length width, height, and cultural.

This was once a typical small town movie palace, probably dating back to the 30's or 40's that eventually closed and was demolished. The search continues for some archival photos of the Flo when it was open.
