It appears to be back in operation, and now known as The Lyon. I was looking for a movie, and there it was under Movie Tickets. I had never heard of the Lyon Theater, so I looked it up, and that is the same address. They are featuring a first run movie at the moment (only one), but we will see what the future holds.

The South Lyon Theater has closed indefinitely as of March 27th, and is going up for sale.
