The Riviera in Three Rivers is restored and open, showing first-run festival (or alternative) feature films and live acts. Restoration began in 2006 and was completed in 2008 (I believe).

I saw my first movie, Goldfinger, at the Riviera Theater in 1966, when I was twelve. I have gone to many other movies there throughout the years. I was dismayed the last time my husband and I went to a movie in the late 90''s. The theater was run down and full of unruly kids that the owners could not control. You cannot imagine my surprise and joy when I went to see a Halloween burlesque show last week.
I was blown away by the restored beauty of the theater!!! Loved it and will come back again!!.

After being closed for several years, this place has re opened as a Bar/Theater. The inside has been restored and looks really good. They still play movies but not first run features. They also have live music from time to time. I have not taken any pictures to post.

The Riviera Theatre in Three Rivers first opened on December 23, 1925. It ran continuously until 2000. The Monroe family purchased the Riviera in the summer of 2005 and began an extensive restoration soon after. After three long and arduous years, the theatre re-opened officially in August of 2008. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 370 and a total capacity of 518 persons.
It is operated by the Monroe family and a small number of employees. website: www. trriviera. comphone: 269.

I will probably submit some more current photos shortly. Thank You. Colin Monroe,The Riviera Theatre I also noticed that our address is listed wrong. It''s actually 50 North Main Street, not 57.
