This 1076-seat neighborhood movie house opened in 1916, an early design by Detroit-based theater architect Christian W. Brandt. During the early to mid 50s, the Del was one of a handful of Detroit theaters which screened 3D films. By the early 60s, the Del was closed. It has since been demolished.
