Update Feb 26 2024:
I found one ad on this place and it was named Benton Harbor Speedway so I added that from Benton Harbor Fairgrounds. I found an article from 1926 indicating the entire place was going to be razed to make way for subdivided lots. It DOES mention this was a 1/2 mile dirt track. The new development mentioned it was at E Britain and Crystal.
Oddly, there don't seem to be many homes on the land described even as of 2024. There is a phone switch (or other utility) building sitting on the lot I believe the track resided on. The old Topo Map indicates Boynton School was on the lot. Perhaps THAT is what that building was that sits there now. The House of David was across the street if I have the lot right. There appears to be some remnants of a ball diamond and maybe a track on the 1955 aerial but that could be for the school that was present by 1930.

1/2 mi. dirt oval, ran 1916-1917, AAA sanctioned race in 1917. Need someone to check the 1930's era aerial at the local soil conservation office. Best guess would be a fairground or the airport property.
