Update Feb 12, 2024: I have updated the aerial photo based on Dan Dusseau's input. The outline of the track can be seen on the 1954 aerial. I am using the address of Dusseau Auto Parts as it sits on the lot of the old track.

My family owned Maple City Speedway in the late forties last races was 49 . It is now a auto wrecking yard and is still in operation. My father and grandpa had cars that raced here and at the fairgrounds. The track is a mile south of the fairgrounds on Treat hwy. There is nothing left but the memories of the older generation that went to the races. My grandpa told me them old hobo cars with the old flathead Fords old Hudsons and so on went as fast as some now days. It was a half mile dirt not much bank if any nothing like today.
