Update 6/22/2025
I tried again to find the exact address of this place but failed again. I did find an article that Senator Homer Ferguson campaigned here in Sept 1954. Auto history buffs will recognize him as the man who was suspected of helping to run the Tucker Auto Co. into the ground. He is portrayed by Lloyd Bridges in the biopic "Tucker: The Man and his Dream". His son Jeff played Tucker.
Roof's goes back a long way, I found mentions in the newspaper archives from the early 1950's. It was run by the Roof family and had a very rustic motif. I tried to find traces of it and I see nothing on the current or historical aerial photography.
