There were 2 Hob Nob Drive-Ins apparently, one goes back to 1948 and was operated by Cliff Gratcsh who was also a flight instructor. His place was at Fenton and Reid Roads. The other was at 1322 Dupont Street and was operated by Harvey G Proffitt. The Dupont Street location seemed to have been the definitive version as numerous articles on it can be found in the newspaper archives.
The Dupont location was robbed many times as you can see from the articles below. I am not sure that was the reason for its relatively short life but it appears the business and building were razed by the late 1960's. I see 2 buildings on the lot that were possible locations and both got wiped out. Same goes for Fenton and Reid Road. I-75 came through that area and lots of structures were demolished to make way for it.
