Harvest House was the brainchild of F.W. Woolworth Company as a companion restaurant to their department stores. It seems to have come to fruition in Michigan in 1970, at least at the Genesee Valley Center location. I believe the format was going through a buffet line and then taking a seat in the dining room. They had reasonably priced daily specials. Woolworth decided to close the restaurant in 1987.
