Mid-Wa Bar was once run by Wayne and Mercena Whitlock. I would estimate it goes back to the 1950s. Eventually it changed hands and became John Henry's. It was stated on the Naubinway Facebook page that it was kitty corner to Beaudoin's Cafe. I believe that would put it at 11596 US-2 where a propane tank sits today. There was a building across from Beaudoin's that was the general shape and size of Mid-Wa. It was gone by 2009.
