This 10 room motel was originally operated by Orlo and Ruth Wildfong. The Wildfong's also owned a gas station in town. The place was promoted to the skiing crowd given its proximity to Mt. Mancelona, Schuss Mountain, Shanty Creek and Boyne Mountain. Sometime later, Frank and Margaret Watson took over. They changed the name to Watson's Motel. This motel was still standing as of 2023. I believe it is operating as apartments.
