As so often happens, I found this little motel while I was researching something else. It probably goes back to the 1950's and sits in the tiny town of Kipling near Gladstone. It was operated by Norman Harris in those days. Thankfully the structure still stands and appears to be private apartments now. The only mentions in the papers were an attic fire that occurred in 1959 and a classified ad selling a tractor. I took a shot in the dark and checked out street views of Kipling and there it was.
