From what I am reading, this lodge and cabin outfit (operated by Ken Muzzy) were near where the old L'Anse Landing Field was. It had 20 cabins, a store and a gas station. Mr. Muzzy ran the lodge and the airport at one time. He eventually sold the lodge after 15 years and opened a Gamble's Store in Escanaba in 1956. He passed away in 1958 at the age of 73.
The airport was eventually closed and L'Anse Golf Club occupies the land now. It appears the lodge was just east of the old landing field which would put it roughly where Bovine Farmer's Market sits as of 2025. I did see an old gas station on the 2008 street view which may have been Muzzy's. There is also a cabin on the lot which looks similar to the old cabins on the post card photos.
