This motel was a "couples only" romantic retreat type of motel that operated in the 1980's thru about 2008 or so. It was affiliated with the Hotel Frankfort which had the same format. The operator was Kirk Lorenz. The building still stands as Eden Brook Place, an apartment complex. There was a cool canopy adjacent to the lot that was once part of a vintage gas station when I was there in 2003. That is gone. The Hotel Frankfort is still going well in 2025 and the reviews are great. It looks fantastic.
