Bummer that they stopped doing Gilbert and Sullivan shows with young people in this theatre during the summers. It is a cool theatre, with a revolving stage so that you can have three different set backgrounds for each show. I remember having a blast making the set for "Pirates of Penzance" in 1985 or 86. And I saw some fun community theatre productions there as a teen. Im glad the Center is still an active place for the arts in Midland. I live in a bigger town now, with lots of artistic opportunities, but I cant seem to find a free venue for my son to try out acting in a musical this summer. Midlanders are blessed to have what they have. BTW, I never would have understood the movie "Waiting for Guffman" without my community theatre experiences at the Little Theatre!!
