This dance hall goes back to the 1920's or before. It was once owned by Arthur Pouliot. By 1947, it was destroyed by fire (right after a costly remodeling) per the article below. Fortunately there was only 1 minor injury. By 1948, it was announced the hall would re-open for the holiday season as it had been rebuilt. By 1953, the hall was converted for military use as a barracks. I am not sure if this was a temporary measure or permanent as the news articles don't have much beyond that. That intersection today is a very busy place, all structures are modern. So, I would assume this place was demolished at some point.
