This building goes back to the 1950's and had a few different uses over the years, one being a fiberglass boat company. Spartan Lanes opened in 1964 and ran for 25 years or so. Sometime before 1993, the building was demolished. I am using the address of a newer building on the site even though it isn't an exact match.
I believe the owner of this place also had Lucky Strike Lanes in Ludington. There is also Spartan Lanes West in Ludington (still open) which may also be affiliated. There was also a bowling alley in downtown Scottville which I believe was Scotville Recreation. That place goes back to the 1940's. A poster on Vintage Aerials also indicated this place was named Mires Bowling, but I could not verify that.
