I was fortunate enough to have attended one of the races that they had back in 82''-83''. I remember going there with my father to watch Midgets. At the time, the cars were mostly still running Chevy II 4s & Volkswagens. I remember that there was one car that ran a Ford Cosworth. There was also a fellow there who was running a Chevy II 4 w/ a V8 head on it. His name was Landon & he was later tragically killed. It was the last time I watched a Midget race.
