Don't have the address, but it was very definitely on M-24, the main street there. I attended the theater at least once, circa 1971-72.
11/21/2005 - Ken Martin
The words Opera House can be seen about 12 feet above the Marquee. The fire that took the movie theater also took the fire station next door on the right and eventually the larger building on the left. The current Oxford Cinema 7 is in the location of those three buildings.
2/24/2004 - Ron Tripp
The original Oxford Theatre (detroyed by fire in 1972) was built circa 1880 as The Oxford Opera House.
2/10/2004 - WaterWinterWonderland
The Oxford Theatre dates back to at least the 1940s as this ad reveals.
