In 2009 and 2010 snowmobile racing is back. I went to the race this year. Good event! There was vintage along with new snowmobiles. The new snowmobiles ran an enduro 150 mile race. Hope it stays around.

I believe I raced my off-road car here in 1991 or 1992 with the Michigan Off-Road Championship Series. Can''t remember if the track in the photo was there, but I Know I raced at the fairgrounds?I drove the Red Baron Racing #621 1-2 1600 limited class car.Fun times!
4/5/2009 - Brad Thompson
There was snowmobile races there in the 70''s. The Caro 150, the race was sponsored by the Cass River Sno-drifters Snowmobile Club. At the time it was the 4th longest snowmobile race in the state. I think it only lasted 3 years, for the first couple of years my Dad was in charge of ticket sales. I counted laps one year for the winning sled. There was motorcycle races on and off during the fair, a man was killed crossing the track during the motorcycle races in the sixties. There has always been horse races during the fair.

I don''t remember any car races here. I know there use to be motorcyles races here. there use to be snowmobile races here in the 70''s.
