The 10-unit Edgewood Motel goes back to 1959. It was located in Nahma Corners although the mailing address is Rapid River. In the 1960's, the Tip Top Cafe and Mac's Bar (still standing in 2023 as Mac's Food and Spirits) was adjacent. It appears the restaurant predates the motel and was taken over by the motel management in 1959. By 2013, the motel was demolished to make way for a propane gas sales outlet. It may have been closed long before demolition of the structure occurred as the 2008 street view indicates.
