General Information:

The former Gem Theatre was built in 1916 as a venue for both vaudeville and the movies. The Rex Theatre was vacant for years until THSA member Evan Chase bought the theater and restored it. A theater organ was installed at that time. The theater was sold in 1995 and is still operating as of 2022.
