I was born and raised in Leslie. The old Arcade Theater was long gone by the time I was born. I have read some things about it in history books of Leslie. Such as it was one of the only theaters around during it's time that had a "cry room" if patrons were overcome by emotion.'In my childhood the theater had become an IGA supermarket but I remember it mostly as Schmidt's Supermarket. After Schmidt's went out of business it sat vacant for quite awhile and eventually did become an auto parts store and remained so for a good number of years. Just in the past couple of years the Auto parts store went out of business and it again sat empty. It has just been bought and turned into a Banquet hall for meetings, receptions, parties, etc...
