My grandmother and grandfather owned the restaurant/theatre in the 1970's - closing some time in the late 1980's to 1990's. Someone purchased it in the 1980's but did not make payments and the restaurant went into receivership when my grandmother took position again. My grandparents were Helen and Dan Schittone. There is also an apartment upstairs.

I was asst manager/projectionist at this theatre from 1948-1961. Original owners were Alfred Hamlin and Thomas Arnold. In 1949, Arnold sold his share to Louis J. Kempa. Later, Hamlin sold his share to Kempa. Kempa owned it until the late 60s. Not sure who owned it in its last years, or exactly when it closed.
