3/8/2014 - Keith Ziegler
I recently bought a home just up the street from the Pines, And has become a great place for my wife and I to go to. Its still in full operation but closed on Tuesday and only one showing at 7 pm nightly only one movie a week.
1/15/2004 - Cinema Treasures
The Pines was built in 1941 by Olsen Bros Theaters. It was designed by C. Howard Crane. It is best described as "hunting lodge rustic", and I understand there was only one other such theater built, in the Northwest.
9/12/2003 - Houghton Lake Fan
My family has been visiting Houghton Lake for over 60 years. During that time, the Pines has been a major part of our lives for 4 generations.
