This bowling alley goes back to at least the early 1960's. It is visible on the 1963 aerial photo below. I also found an article from 1974 about a robbery there. At some point a tractor supply company occupied the lot and the old bowling alley was razed sometime after 2019. The tractor joint was eventually closed to make way for a Love's Travel Shop with a Hardee's on site. It looks as though there was some illuminated signage (Bowling & Bar) on the rear of the building that would have been visible from US-23.
