This 9-hole course was operated by Doug Main, a Flint native who was a PGA pro golfer who had some success in events like the Michigan Open. He was the club pro and ran it with his father, Bob Main. The facility had a restaurant/lounge as well as a 25 tee driving range. It opened in 1956 and was closed in 2011. I have read there were plans for new owners to re-open it as of 2012 but I am not sure if that ever came to fruition. Looking at the historical street views, it was still for sale as of 2018. As of 2023, it sits empty.
There is an abandoned restaurant a couple hundred feet up the road at 5313 South Dort Highway, Flint, MI 48507. It was known as the Highway 54 Bar and Grill and Grand Blanc Inn before that. I have added some photos of that here also just because.

Loch Lomond Golf Course is a Public 9 hole golf course located in Flint, Michigan. It was first opened for play in 1956. The course was designed by Bob Main. The fairways are wide, and the speed of the Loch Lomand greens ranges from medium to fast. There is a creek that comes into play on eight of the nine holes.
Par for the course is 34. From the back tees the course plays to 2,593 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,112 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 460 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 164 yards from the back tees. Watch out for # 4, a 335 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Loch Lomond Golf Course is # 6, the 164 yard par-3.
