I like the setting on this one, nested back off the road in the trees. This motel/restaurant goes back to the 50's and was run by Odessa Fox. I haven't been able to get an exact location on this place. I briefly thought this and the MacJo Motel were the same but a full page ad from 1957 dispelled that notion. I have a feeling it was at the same intersection but on a different corner. The historical aerials only go back to the 1970's so it may have been gone by then. The Hulbert Facebook Group contains some photos and comments about the place but they didn't mention the exact location.

My grandmother was Odessa Fox. The Fox Den was on M28 & S Hulbert Rd. The Mack Jo was kitty corner from the Fox Den. A couple of the cabins still stand on the property..
