The Drive-In closed in the spring of 1988. Fittingly, it was the same time I graduated High School, and marked the end of the drive in era for Huron county residents. The M-53 Drive-In was a great place for a car full of friends to go on a summer night. I remember seeing "Nightmare on Elm Street 3" and Tom Cruise in "Legend" at this drive in during the 80s.
