This old motel goes back to the 50's or 60's. It was operated by Ed Larkin who was elected an officer of the Grand Traverse Area Motel Association in 1972. It appears the old motel is now gone and a private residence sits on the former lot. This motel was within walking distance of the Traverse Drive-In which sat kitty-corner across the street.
