I believe the Robbe family built the Elsie around 1949. I think the same blue prints were used for the Dewitt Theater in DeWitt, and the Sun in Williamston. All three were for the most part identical. The Robbe family build the Northside Drive in Lansing in 1955. Mr Robbe was killed in an automobile accident around 1960.
