This place goes back to 1901 and seems to pre-date the Crystal Palace Ballroom. A retrospective article from 1973 indicates the place was sold by 1923. I am not sure what became of this building or where it was exactly. I did find an article (see below) from 1968 indicating the Lakeshore Tavern (formerly the pavillion) was destroyed by fire. That article indicates it was a popular big band spot in the 20's and 30's and had been destroyed by fire previously.
