Won a midget race there in the late 70's, The next year I was leading the race when the steering gear broke and the car turned over and over and over. The fan count was huge, when the stands filled up they stated filling the baseball diamond with spectators.
12/1/2006 - Tim Brooks
Took my wife there on one of our first dates back in the late 70's she was not impressed after looking in the mirror when we were covered with dust and rubber she married me anyway a few years later but has not been to a race since.
6/5/2006 - Randal Cronk
Went to a snowmobile race there a long time ago with a friend of mine. He worked for a company that had a sled racing there. It was cold but the team won so that helped make the weather more tolerable. It was known as the THUNDER BAY 250, still have the pin from that race.

4/9/2005 - Loren Olson
Last I knew the track was still in use for horses and motorcycles during the fair.
