The first mention I found of Don Lee's goes back to 1959. It was a show bar from what I can gather. I don't remember it which is surprising because the motif is quite something. It was operated by Dominic "Don" Fella who passed away in 2004. The last mention I saw for the Nugget was from 1964. The building is still standing as of 2023 and is occupied by a heating and cooling company. Berlitz School also used the building in the 1970's and I am sure there were others.
