This was one of many vintage motels that operated in Mackinaw City, many of them still do today. Back in the old times Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Nardone owned and operated this place which was right on Lake Huron 1 mile from the Mighty Mac. It definitely has that mid-century Googie feel to it. The address on the postcard doesn't make much sense today. It is possible the Mohawk Motel, Waterfront Inn, and North Star motel were all the same place. I am not sure about that yet so I will keep things separate.
