I found out about the short-lived Charlevoix while researching the New Art Theatre in Detroit. Apparently the theater was next door to this hotel. Park Street as of 2024 is a short stretch between Williams and Elizabeth which is near Michigan Ave. The hotel sat at Park and Elizabeth which is totally different today. The hotel was gutted by 1922 to convert it to shopping and office space. According to the aerial photos, the building was gone entirely by the early 1950's.
