From Cinema Treasures
The Hilltop Drive-In was operated by Delft Theatres when it opened and later by Mescop and then M. Peterson. The drive-in opened on May 1, 1953 with Charlton Heston in “The Savage”. It had a car capacity listed at 500 with a single screen. It is listed as closing in 1989 and has since been demolished.
From WWW (me)
I found a smattering of articles on the theater, most notably one about a painter dying while painting the place in 1968 and a burglary in 1955. Also a vandalism report in 1966.
