I have been to the bar at this motel many times. I worked at American Sunroof Company (RIP) for 10 years and our headquarters was next door to this place. Heinz Prechter (RIP), who owned ASC among many other things, also owned this hotel. This was THE PLACE to go after work and have a few beers at happy hour. It was funny because the rowdiest idiots in this place were all employees of the owner. Fun times. There is a La Quinta Inn there now and it looks like a newer build so maybe the old "PI" got demolished.
