This 15 unit motel was one of many that were built in the 50's and 60's along the US-23 shoreline area south of Mackinaw City. It was operated by David and Clara Edwards and came up for sale in 1966 for $30k.
I am not seeing a motel operating under this name as of 2023, nor am I seeing one that features this configuration along that stretch. That doesn't mean the building is gone but I am not seeing it. As I continue to document all of these motels, I will probably be able to nail it down further. Some of these older motels were razed to make way for more modern units, especially the ones that were closer to the bridge.
