This motel goes back to the 1950's and was originally known as Dot's. It was in the Chum's Corner area at the junction of M-37 and US-31. The motel was on the NE corner. It looks like it was built with a smaller footprint with the motel office being added later. By the mid to late 90's, the motel was razed to make way for what is a Rite Aid as of 2023.
