This is an odd one. The original address given on the ads for this motel was 5950 S Cedar Ave. That stretch hasn't changed hardly at all since the 50's and I am not seeing a motel on the historical aerial photos. The later address was 6830 S Cedar and there was definitely a motel of this type there, until it was torn down sometime in the 70's. That site now contains the Causeway Bay Lansing Hotel & Convention Center. So, I am going with 6830 as the address and the place goes back to the early 50's.
