This motel was opened in 1947 and was built by Lyle Broadbent. William and Marjorie Bash operated it in around 1951. In 1952, it was taken over by Harry and Lydia MacCreery who had moved from Battle Creek. By 1955, Gordon Willyoung took over. He had been an employee of the motel. By 1956, there was a fire at the site. The motel is still operating under the original name as of 2023.
