I Opened the Parkway as Manager in February 1972. It was Operated by Suburban Detroit Theatres.

I used to go to the Parkway when it was open in the mid-late 70s. I was surprised to find the manger was Ken Wienert who used to be the assist mgr at the Ramona in Detroit when I worked there in the late 60s. The Parkway was a nice theater. Nothing fancy, but I wWas sad to see it close.

I live in an apt complex behind this plaza. Located in the corner is now a Subway chain. This plaza is called Parkway Plaza and it has a number of stores. Interesting to find there was once a movie theatre there.
