This 25 unit motel goes back to 1957. It appears to be 2 separate buildings and I believe both were part of the motel. Both are pictured on the vintage postcard. It was managed by Mr. and Mrs. Coney Schrader at that time. In 1962, they purchased a car ferry. It operated for many years but by 2009 it was demolished to make way for the Joslin Cove waterfront condos/apartments. The SS City of Milwaukee sits at the adjacent dock.
