Update 5/13/2025 from Mrs. Thompson: I'm 99% sure this motor lodge was once located at what is currently 'Don Orr Ski Haus' (890 Munson Ave). [From WaterWinterWonderland.com - I believe this is correct even though the historical address is 3022 Munson Ave. It also can be the Mitchell Creek Inn was D. Orr Haus Motor Lodge also.]
D. Orr Haus was operated in the 1970's by Don and Betty Orr. Prior to that, it was the Cottonwood Motel in the 1960's or before. I was unable to pinpoint the exact location as the historical aerials for that stretch of Munson Ave didn't reveal anything that looks like this place. As the motel is probably demolished, the address doesn't exist anymore.
