This place started out as cabins in the 1930's but eventually a full motel was built. It sat adjacent to the old Starlite Drive-In. One of the wings of the motel structure was demolished in the 80's and by the early 2000's the other one was gone. It is now the site of Merle's Towing as of 2024. The motel was operated by Everett and Mary Brown in the earlier days. Back in 2008, it looked to be a used car lot and there was a sign on the building that said "Pine Grove Sales".
