This place goes back to the 1950's. I am using the address of the Krist Gas Station for reference because it sits next door to the cabins and kitty corner from where the Wayside Motel sat. Amazingly, some of the cabins are still standing as of 2023. It looks as though the Wayside Motel across the street made it into the 1990's and was demolished.
